Happy Helio was founded by Alexandra, former Belgian lawyer, social media manager, content creator and model for several well-known brands & businesses in Europe. Beside her experience as a lawyer, where she learned to work under enormous pressure for various clients, Alexandra also experienced hundreds of photo and video shoots for national and international brands on first hand; managed several well-known brands’ social media; and created content on different platforms. It's safe to say Alexandra knows how to put in work, and that her working experience taught her a lot about the do's and don'ts of campaign and content creation.

As Alexandra left Belgium and moved to sunny Cape Town in early '22, she quickly understood South Africa has a unique beauty and an exceptional value, in particular for campaign and content creation. Being the home of many talented international models, agencies, and photographers, in the midst of extraordinary nature and unique light, South Africa surely lives up to its reputation of being one of the world's most favourite locations of countless campaign & commercial shoots across the globe. In '23 Alexandra also joined Ice Models, South Africa's leading model agency, which allows her to be on set on various locations, learn more about production in South Africa, and meet creatives in the industry.

 

All these factors combined, Alexandra decided to create Happy Helio.
